“Yaar” is the everyday Urdu and Hindi word for a close friend. On YaarPlus a yaar is a mutual friendship: you send a yaar request, they accept, and only then do you count as yaars. There are no one-sided follows and no follower counts.

Verify your university or college email (or your student ID card) once, and YaarPlus unlocks a private space for your institute: campus-only posts and sparks, a student marketplace, skill swaps, carpools, study-buddy matching and a directory of people from your campus. Nothing posted inside a campus is visible to anyone outside it.
You choose per post: Public, My yaars (only friends who have accepted you) or Campus (only verified students of your institute). Private posts never show up in search, explore, or shared links for anyone outside that circle.
